It is no secret that John Huston loved Mexico and was a frequent visitor. He first stumbled on to Puerto Vallarta in 1929 and discovered little had changed when he made his way back in the 1960s to shoot and direct a movie that will forever be attached to the beautiful city of Puerto Vallarta, “The Night of the Iguana”.

In this amazing short documentary, “On The Trail Of The Iguana”, Huston and the stars of his movie describe Puerto Vallarta and the beautiful areas surrounding it while amazing images of a small fishing town that does not yet know its’ future potential, will mesmerize anyone that has visited or lived in Puerto Vallarta. The footage they have captured in this short documentary of this lovely town now a thriving international destination is truly amazing.

“On The Trail Of The Iguana” is an incredible short documentary regarding the location and shooting of “Night of the Iguana” a feature film that put Puerto Vallarta on the map.
