Bike Path In Nuevo Vallarta Provides Fun For All

Enjoy a beautiful ride on this 6.5km (4mi) segment friendly for all ages!

Looking For Family Friendly or Individual Activities in Nuevo? A Bike Ride May be the Answer!

Whether you are a group looking for a fun weekend activity or an individual looking for a way to see the area and get in some exercise, this bike lane is an excellent asset for everyone!

If you find yourself in the beautiful and relaxing destination of Nuevo Vallarta and are in the need for a relaxing walk or fun bike ride, there is an excellent bike path and pedestrian walk in the heart of Nuevo Vallarta.
It is effortless to find and easy to get to on your bike or foot. The area is lovely, and you’ll be surrounded by others exercising and getting in a pleasant stroll.

For gear, we’d suggest you keep it relatively simple: helmet, comfortable shoes, gloves, sun shades, and, if possible, a bottle of water and some sunscreen. It is not the ultimate adventure, but coming prepared always gives us a head start. This scenic and entertaining ride can have a slight elevation of 11m (33ft) at its peak, and to complete the track in an entire loop would take you from 40 to 50 minutes; it’s a great way to start your day!

One of the highlights of this ride is that you will be able to explore an area that is still very well preserved and just off the ocean. At certain times of the day, you can catch a glimpse of some red crabs crossing the roads near Flamingos Estates, and you will certainly see the many iguanas hanging on the mangroves as you cross the bridge. If you decided to venture off the path and into the canals around the villas, you might be lucky enough to spot crocodiles and various tropical birds. If you want to take your time, you can certainly make it an eco trip for your young ones or simply a moment of your day to reconnect with your surroundings and feel that sunshine and breeze on your face. Our favorite route is to take Paseo de Los Cocoteros at the Nuevo Vallarta Blvd and head North, riding on the far right bike lane where it is a straighter path. You can pick up as much speed as possible, especially after passing Flamingos’ security gate. It’s a solid asphalt-covered straight line for approximately .5 Km (.30 Mi) where you can push yourself to break a sweat in that stretch!

15 Km ride!

The main thing about this beautiful bike path is to enjoy it (or suffer a bit if you like pushing your limits)!
If you don’t bring water with you or have no way of carrying any, one place will offer you water at the Residences Plaza by Marival, where the Nicksan restaurant is. They’ll welcome you for a quick visit if you need; great hospitality; kudos to them!
