Casa Rosa was purchased last November by a couple from Austin, Texas, who loved Vallarta and wanted a place they could visit while also turning it into a beautiful vacation rental. They have quite a bit of experience in bringing living spaces to life as they own and operate an interior design company in Austin, Texas. And they hit it out of the park with Casa Rosa. The attention to detail is stunning. Beautiful dining sets, colorful Mexican style bowls, and gorgeous green margarita glasses line a sleek, open shelf in the wholly reimagined chef’s kitchen. Beautiful quartz countertops on the breakfast bar, kitchen counter, and mini bar contrast beautifully with the black Acapulco style bar stools and gorgeous Parota wood cabinetry.
What catches the eye is the indoor/ outdoor living and dining provided by the stylish and open layout of Casa Rosa. Just inside large sliding accordion-style glass doors is a circular dining table with room for five, which offers stunning views of the large terrace and ocean on the horizon. Outside on the spacious terrace is a booth-style dining table sitting adjacent to a private dipping pool which provides some of the most spectacular sunset and ocean views in all of Conchas Chinas. The expansive panorama views give guests a first-row seat to where the Sierra Madre Mountains meet the ocean to Los Arcos, all the way to the buildings that line the coast of Puerto Vallarta. Next to the pool are large and comfortable sun-beds, ideal for soaking in the views and some rays.
Every inch of the architecture will make guests question if they are in Mexico or Greece as Mediterranean vibes flow through each level of the home. Gleaming white walls are tied together by stunning white arches and a large white spiral staircase that leads upstairs to two large dual-primary bedrooms. Each bedroom feature a sliding door to the second-floor terrace. One bedroom boasts impressive ocean views and a shower that provides some of the best sunset viewings of any shower in all of Vallarta. The second primary bedroom contains a lovely living area with a built-in couch and seating area around a flat-screen TV just in front of the sliding glass doors. The back part of the room features a large sleeping area with a king-size bed, an office desk/ work area, and a large ensuite bathroom.
All the essentials are provided at Casa Rosa. A fully stocked kitchen for preparing fabulous meals and delicious cocktails by guests or the private chef is available. The linens and mattresses are all 5-star hotel quality. The towels and robes provided are of excellent quality as well. There are pool floats, pool towels, yoga mats and blocks, and unique and eco-friendly locally-sourced soaps and lotions.
